columns and hyphenation of words
When you hyphenate by hand, use an optional hyphen (Ctrl+Hyphen) and the
spelling checker won't complain. -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA "Bjorn E" wrote in message ... when I use columns of different sizes on different pages (a small outer column to the left on even pages and to the right on odd pages with a section break between pages), then Word 2002 seems to be unable to manage user-controlled hyphenation, suggesting hyphenation of words in the middle of a line on some of the pages. Thus line lengths have to be controlled by inserting hyphens by hand - which subsequently annoys the spelling check. Is there another way? |
