Default "Word Count"

Where is "word count" in MS Office 2007? I just got 2007 last week (had 2003
before) My co-worker has it directly above "proofing" when in word, but I
don't.

Can anyone help me out there?

Thanks!

It is in the Proofing group of the Review tab. If your Word window is set
sufficiently narrower than your co-worker's, then the label on the button
will be hidden, but the button (the letters ABC on top of a rectangle
containing 123) will be there.

You can also show a word count at all times in the status bar at the bottom
of the window. Right-click the status bar and click "Word Count" to turn on
the display.
