Default How to include quotation marks in If/Then Statement?

I am trying to include in an if/then statement during a mail merge text
inside and including text for example the sentance needs to read...

One area of real progress is in €śchemoprevention,€ť which seeks to interrupt...

Does anyone know how to do this?

One way is to save the text as an autotext entry and conditionally insert
the autotext entry field.
