Locking elements so they cannot be moved
Is there any way in Word to lock elements such as tables or text boxes so
they cannot be moved? I'm working on a newsletter template for a client who wants to use Word to overprint on preprinted stock I have designed for them. Thank you! |

Word does not have any provision for 'locking' individual objects to a fixed
location. There are a number of way that may/may not work for you, such as creating sectons and protecting those section to prevent changes. Click in the Search For: box above the button you clicked to submit your post and use the keyword 'lock' for more optons.
