I'm having the same numbering problem, i.e.,
I know. I hit enter before I was done and obviously shouldn't have. I
was trying to enter an additional comment to the table of contents message about all numbers coming up as 2 or 3 or something instead of the actual page numbers; that's the "same problem" I am having. Thanks! -- Marv Lusk "Graham Mayor" wrote: Your message is meaningless without some reference to what on earth you are talking about! -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org MarvInBoise wrote: all numbers change to 3. |

I'm having the same numbering problem, i.e.,
Is this when opening a document attached to an email? If so, you need
to clear the "Allow starting in Reading layout" option in Tools Options, General tab. On the other hand, if the problem occurs with a specific document, take a look at http://word.mvps.org/faqs/numbering/PageNumber0.htm. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "MarvInBoise" wrote in message ... And if it doesn't work, the document could be corrupt, in which case
you would want to take a look at http://word.mvps.org/faqs/apperrors/CorruptDoc.htm. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "MarvInBoise" wrote in message ...
