If you go to Office button Word Options Proofing and click the Settings button in the spelling and grammar section of the options dialog, you can change a number of settings. In any case, beware of any computerized grammar checker. Word's checker is better than in previous versions, but it's still no substitute for a decent education, constant proofreading, and careful attention to what you're writing. It _will_ get things wrong, both missing existing errors and complaining about nonexistent errors. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
