Why can't I click on a hyperlink and have it open the web page?
When I create a hyperlink in Word, I am not able to access the web page by
clicking on the hyperlink. This was not the case with Word 2000 or 2002. |

What happens if you Ctrl+Click instead of click?

Word 2003 uses Ctrl+Click by default. If you prefer a plain click, instead,

Tools | Options | Edit | Deselect Use Ctrl + Click
