Hi ?B?Qm9uc2Vy?=,
have documents which were created with a template other than normal. Every time I open them, the template help opens on the right. I don't want to see it unless I need it. How can I turn that off? Unfortunately, you don't mention which version of Word is involved, here. My guess would be 2003? So, perhaps you're opening a SmartDocument solution? In that case, there's probably nothing you can do, although you might contact your IT department (or whoever supplied the template) and communicate your concern.
