Default How do I reformat an existing document?

On my old Word program I could simply click a reformat icon and change an
existing document to fit the new document.

Where is this Icon on my new Word or how do I change the format of an
existing document to fit the new document page?

Never heard of such an icon. I suspect you had an Add-In program to do this.

Are you trying to attach a different template to a document? Then
you have to use the Templates and Add-Ins dialog box
(ToolsTemplates and Add-Ins) and check the option to "Update
document styles". Note, however, that this will add the styles of
a template, but not the page layout settings (such as margins).

Also, once you have updated your document with the new template,
you have to clear the "update" option in the Templates and
Add-Ins dialog; otherwise, Word will keep updating the styles of
that document every time it is opened.
