WORD USED TO RECOGNISE NEW WORDS. NOW FAILS to do so.

Default new words not recognised by Spelling check

CTRL+A then tools language set language - to the language for which you
have a dictionary installed and uncheck the 'do not spell check' and
'automatically detect' boxes.
