[CT[_2_]]

I have spent hours trying to figure out how to get a simple header with text
and a page number that transfers from page to page in a Word 2007 document.
Never had this problem with previous versions. The help menu is of no
"Help." Gives me logical answers, but they don't work. I am using Vista.
It seems so simple. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance. CarolT
