How do I get rid of an unwanted left-hand margin in an endnote?
As I was typing footnote 97, an automatic left-hand margin of perhaps 5
spaces appeared and won't go away (for that note). The next note is back to normal formatting. I tried changing from web to print view, but it was still there. I suspect there may be a hidden character that is doing it, and there used to be a "reveal" (control r, I think) mode that would show it. But that seems to be a thing of the past. Any suggestions? (The diminish left margin doesn't affect it.) |
