Default wont' let me write word file to disk

i am the owner of this coputer and it will not aloow me to write a word file
to disk. tells me to contact admiistrator, obviously, i am the
administrator. how do i resolve this problem?

First: never try writing a Word document directly to a removable disk. It
corrupts the file. Save the file to your hard disk then use Explorer to copy
the file.

Second: that message usually means you're trying to write to CD, without
having a CD burner installed.
