Fixing an object is a specific place
I have inserted a file as an icon into my Word document. The icon needs to be
double clicked on, but can be moved. Is there any way to fix it in place so that it can't be moved, and still opened with a double click? |

Fixing an object is a specific place
Hi ?B?amtuYXBwMTAwNQ==?=,
I have inserted a file as an icon into my Word document. The icon needs to be double clicked on, but can be moved. Is there any way to fix it in place so that it can't be moved, and still opened with a double click? No, I'm afraid not. Word wasn't designed with this kind of thing in mind - it's a Word processor (made for editing), not a "reader" or a "browser". You might consider creating a PDF document.
