Default Where do autosaved deleted Word documents go?

For example, I wrote a letter in Word 2003 and then pasted it into my email.
I deleted it after I pasted it but autosave had been on saving it every five
minutes or so. After I deleted it I needed it again. My question is after I
have deleted it is it gone or is it saved somewhere as doc 56 or something
and where would I find it if I never named it?

There is no autosave feature in any version of Word. See
