Default In Word, what is the term "thumbnails" used in reference to?

I have a couple of answers to go with but can't figure out which one it
is...A. printing of several document pages on a single sheet of paper. B.
smallest sizes on the page width Zoom list. C. small icons on the various
toolbars. D. open documents on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.

In Word 2003, a thumbnail view is a small uneditable picture of a page in a
document. It's a quick way to see overall document structure. You can toggle
this view off/on using View - Thumbnails, from the menu. Thumbnail view was
introduced in Word 2003, so if you're looking at an earlier version, it
won't be there.

Of the listed answers, A would perhaps be the closest. The answer Herb gave
you is correct for Word 2003, and it may be what is intended by B since
there is no such thing as a "page width Zoom list." The Thumbnails entry is
on the View menu along with Zoom.
