“uppercase”.
This is a setting in Tools AutoCorrect Options -- "Capitalize first
letter of sentences". Uncheck it to turn it off. If you're hitting Enter at the end of every line, Word assumes that the next word starts a new sentence, so it changes its case. DO NOT hit Enter at the end of every line -- just let Word wrap the text normally. Hitting Enter means you're starting a new paragraph. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
