Default Word accesing the internet on pasting text

Every time I paste text into a Word document from a web page, Word wants to
access the internet. If I don't give it access, it hangs for 30 seconds. I
don't want Word to ever try to access the internet when I paste - I just
want the text. Is there some option I've missed to tell it to always "match
destination formatting"?

Hey, thanks, that works great.

Now if we could only convince MS to allow us to do that with CTRL-V. I've
never, ever appreciated having formatting coming in from cut and paste in
any MS application - Word, Excel, Outlook - to me it's a seriously bad
"feature", something they are wrong to assume everyone wants. Course I could
rant about other fundamental problems, like applications being able to steal
focus from others, or UNDO erasing text in Outlook Express with no REDO so
your entire message is irretrievably blown away when you just wanted to undo
a typed word (I just typed this whole thing twice).

Aww!! I hate rewriting the same thing twice!! Well...see...here's what you
do, kid. You get that macro at the link I gave you. Then you assign a
shortcut key to it (yep, even Ctrl+V). See this:
