Word form fields
I am using Word 2003 and I wish to have a couple of areas on the word
template that when I use the template for the 1st time it asks me to complete some simple details, such as the author's name. I am sure this can be done using "form fields" however I can't find out how. Is there anyway I can find out how to do this? Thanks Shane |

Word form fields
You could use form fields for this, but you might be happier with a
UserForm. For information on protected forms, see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...nTheBlanks.htm and especially the forms tutorials by Dian Chapman that this article links to. For an introduction to UserForms, see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Userforms/CreateAUserForm.htm -- Suzanne S.
