Default Excel Data to MailMerge

Hi All

Below is the Excel data that is imported into Merge

Velocity 1483.1000000000001 ypm

I have tried using below to reduce the digits after the decimal point so
that it reads
Velocity 1483.10 ypm

{MERGEFIELD VELOCITY \ #"$0.00"}

all to no avail --- what 'am I doing wrong????

any help much appreciated

Hi mully,

If your source data actually reads 'Velocity 1483.1000000000001 ypm', then
you can't use a numeric picture switch to round the numeric part without
losing the rest.

If your source data reads '1483.1000000000001', then you can use a numeric
picture switch to round the result. However, your's isn't coded correctly.
Try"
{MERGEFIELD VELOCITY \# ,0.00}
(be careful with the spacing).

Cheers
