opening my 'documents' using windows XP on PC
You need to change the properties of the shortcut from Open to Explore.
-- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA Word MVP FAQ site: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. wrote in message oups.com... when i used to click 'start' -'my documents' the 'my documents folder' used to open, so i could see all my files in that folder. now it behaves differently, when i click on it, just a list of all the docs in there, appear in a line next to it, the same as when you click on 'connect to' i can right click then with the options click 'open' but i used to be able to click the left button on the mouse. Does anyone know how to change that setting.? thanks please email me with the solution |
