outline leaves lots of white space in print layout, eliminate?
using office 2007 with vista
i create outlines in outline layout; everything looks good when i change to print layout, or print, i end up with seemingly random chunks of white space that act almost like page breaks. i've checked, there is no formatting causing this problem. it happens several times in the same document how to i stop this from happening? thanks for your help |

Are you using the built-in heading styles for your outline? If so, note that
Heading 1--Heading 4 are formatted as "Keep with next" by default, which will cause unexpected page breaks.
