Default creating a electronic document with fill in theblank problems

I have some documents I have been trying to get made into e docs with
tabbing from line to line and automatic bold text and underlining . My
problem is I can get a text form field on a line with bold and underlining
but the line keeps growing how do I stop this .? and how do Imake it tab
from form field to check box etc.

It sounds as if you have not protected the document for forms.
