Dual Protection on document
I have a table in word and want to check the box but also want to type in
information to other cells. By using protect document, the boxes will check but the other fields (without a check box) will not allow input. How do I do a dual protection of the document? |

You have to include text form fields where you want to permit data entry.
See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...nTheBlanks.htm and especially the forms tutorials by Dian Chapman that this article links to. -- Suzanne S. Dual Protection on document

I believe you need to enter text boxes in the other fields. That way when you protect the document you should be able to indicate it is a form fill-in.
