It would help if you used this big white space to actually provide a bit
more information on what you are enquiring about. However, based on just the subject line of your post, I will say that this is to be expected. Scanned documents are (usually) just images, and, as such, it is not reasonable to expect them to 'convert' to Word format. -- Cheers!
