Default Weird format templates

Some time ago I received an email with a Word document attached to it. I
opened and printed the document. It was written in blue Comic Sans, and ever
since that, every time I open Word, it's set to use blue Comic Sans. So I
guess something's happened with the format templates. "Normal", "body text",
"header", well everything seems to be based on Comic Sans instead of the
usual Times New Roman. Is there a way to get around this problem and "reset"
everything back to normal, i.e. black Times New Roman?

Thanks,

Hi, Sara. Open Word. Hit Format--Font. Choose Times New Roman (and size,
etc, if necessary), and then hit the DEFAULT button at the bottom-left.

Thanks SO much, Anne! Instead of choosing font, I've been trying to change
the templates. But this worked! Thanks again, now my school work will look a
bit more professional... :-)
