User Forms IF Function?
Can Word perform if functions like Excel?
I have a table and in cell C2 I have the user enter the number of months at/above goal. Then in D2, I want to calculate the answer. In excel I used =IF(C23,IF(C26, IF(C29, IF(C210, IF(C210.5,5),4),3),2),1) to give me the correct information. Is this possible in word? |

Word's formula syntax if different from Excel's. To see how to do this and a wide range of other calculations in Word, check out my Word Field Maths Tutorial, at: http://www.wopr.com/index.php?showto...#entry365 442 or http://www.gmayor.com/downloads.htm#Third_party -- Cheers macropod [MVP - Microsoft Word] "Smithers" wrote in message ...
