In the new version of Word does anyone know how to assign a keyboard shortcut
as you could in the old version of Word through Tools/Customise/keyboard shortcut? |

assing the desired shortcut, then record the action of formatting the paragraph so that it is kept with next. -- Hope this helps. Of course, the user first has to find Customize. But even then, there is no
command for "Keep with next" to which a keyboard short cut can be added. A macro is required. -- Hope this helps. I beg to differ, Doug. In Word 2007, click the arrow on the end of the QAT

That is correct. It is like the other commands in that group which all start
off with Para... such as ParaPageBreakBefore. Confusing but they are all listed (thank Heavens as I use the ParaPageBreakBefore command a few times every session). Terry Farrell "Suzanne S. Eliminating orders when shifting files from 1 computer to another
I have a long file which I am trying to move from 1 computer to another. However, various errors generate. I have the same Word versions on both computers. The errors include repetition of titles in bold. |

I'm often wrong when speaking on the fly or off the cuff, but I had
specifically looked that one up before answering (I don't trust Word 2007 to have *anything* that I could count on in Word 2003). -- Suzanne S. (I don't trust Word 2007 to have *anything* that I could count on in Word
2003). FWIW, my problem with Word 2007 is that when I'm using, say, the Page Setup dialog box, I feel that I'm really in File | Page Setup, not in Page Layout tab | dialog launcher button in the Page Setup group. :-) -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Suzanne S.
