Serial Numbers for Letters
I want to set-up a letter that has an automatically generated serial number on each one. How do I get Word to know what the next number in the sequence would be? We are required to serial number our letters for some customers - and too many cooks in the pot means the serial numbers are getting used more than once - So, I want to create a letter/template/something that will automatically set the next serial number to the next letter in a certain folder. Can this be done? -- RFoehl |
