Default Problem pasting text

Hello,
I have two documents: Document A and Document B. When Document B is copied
and pasted into Document A, it takes on many of the formatting
characteristics of A and looses the characteristics of B that are very
important to the style of the B document. I need to be able to have all the
sections that are in A, keep their original formatting and at the same time
make sure that all the sections from B retain their original formatting. I
tried creating a new section for B, but that was not effective.

I would appreciate any suggestions on how to do this better.

Thank you,

Keith

When you paste B to A, Word should display an on-screen drop-down box that
contains options, one of which is "Keep source formatting." As I recall,
this was a new feature in Office XP so may not be available in earlier
versions of Word.
