In Word 2007, Find does not find anything.
I've tried even copying text into the find box and it still will not find
anything in my document. I have secretaries who reuse docs and need to find and replace items, but it is not finding any matches. Any help is greatly appreciated. Jeff |

In Word 2007, Find does not find anything.
Check all of those options and none are turned on. Very frustrating.
Thanks. "Peter A" wrote: In article , says... I've tried even copying text into the find box and it still will not find anything in my document. Jeff Perhaps you have some formatting turned on - in other words, the find is looking for text with a specific formatting. In the Find dialog box, click the More button then click the No Formatting button. If this button is not available, then this is not the problem. -- Peter Aitken Author, MS Word for Medical and Technical Writers www.tech-word.com |

Is this happening for ALL Word 2007 installations?
What happens if you start Word in safe mode? (press Ctrl as Word is loading, then click Yes to starting in safe mode). (Make sure that "Use wildcards" is not checked.) -- Herb Tyson MS MVP Author of the Word 2007 Bible Blog: http://word2007bible.herbtyson.com Web: http://www.herbtyson.com "jeffwv62" wrote in message ...
