How to change the default setting for object layout?
Is there a way of changing the default setting for object layout so it (say) lies inline with the text rather than (as on my PC) lying over the text? Regards, Julian |

In Word 2002 and 2003, you can modify the default text wrapping for
inserted/pasted objects (Tools | Options | Edit). Note that this will affect only newly inserted graphics, not existing ones (and it also doesn't affect Paste Special). -- Suzanne S. Thanks for the swift reply.
I'm having a few "default" questions now. How about changing the default footnote text style? Is there a way of doing this? Regards, Julian "Suzanne S. Modify the Footnote Text style. Note that when your insertion point is in a
footnote, if you right-click, one of the shortcut menu choices is Style..., which will take you directly to the Style dialog with Footnote Text selected. Click Modify... and make whatever changes you like. -- Suzanne S.
