saving header as text
I am trying to save a Word 2003 as a text file. The problem is I have a
header in the document, whenever I save it as text, the header is saved as a "footer" instead. It appears at the very end of the document. Please help, Thank you. |

saving header as text
If you save a Word file as a plain text file(a .txt extension), all your
formatting (including headers and footers) is removed and any text in the headers and footers is converted to text, as you noted, at the end of the file. If you need a "text" file, consider an RTF (rich text format), which will retain your formatting. "Simon Cheng" wrote: I am trying to save a Word 2003 as a text file.
