Default Word opens with graphpaper background.

I must have done something stupid because when I open a new Word document it
opens with the full page of graph squares.
How do I get it to open as a plain blank sheet?

Default Word opens with graphpaper background.

Display the Drawing toolbar and choose Grid on the Draw menu. Clear the
checkbox for "Display gridlines on screen."

In Word 2003 or earlier, View Toolbars Drawing. On that toolbar,
click Draw Grid and uncheck the option "Display gridlines on
screen".

In Word 2007, click the View ribbon, and in the Show/Hide group,
uncheck the Gridlines box.
