Pop up window upon saving a document with tracked changes
It would be very helpful to have a pop-up window appear when you save a
document with tracked changes. Example: This document contains tracked changes that may not be visible in your current view. Please select: "View changes", "Accept all changes", "Save As Is". The "view changes" could launch the reviewing toolbar with the appropriate icons. The "Accept all changes" could skip directly to the accept all changes function on the reviewing toolbar. "Save as is" would keep the document in its current format. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Pop up window upon saving a document with tracked changes
Word 2003 has a Security (Tools | Options | Security) setting (enabled by
default) to "Make hidden markup visible when opening or saving." You'd be amazed how many users object to this. -- Suzanne S.
