Default Excel object in Word is partially invisible!

I have brought a range of cells into Word via the following:

[1] Select what I want in Excel
[2] Copy
[3] Paste Special into Word using Excel Object and Link

The object is page wide and about 3 inches high, but only the bottom
row or row and a half show inside the object. Everything above that
inside the object displays as white. The cell formatting for the cells
which show and the cells which don't is the same.

And, just to make it really weird, if I print the page, the object
prints completely and correctly, nothing missing.

Office and Windows are both up to date.

Any ideas?

Is the object In Line With Text? If so, is the paragraph spacing set to an
Exact height? Or is there space for the object but it's just not displaying
properly? If that's the case, it's just a display problem that may possibly
be solved by turning down hardware acceleration on your graphics card.

We found it after I sent, and you hit it on your first try. The Normal
style had a 16pt line height. We set it to Single and it's fine. Thanks
for the quick response!
