Numbering in Tables--Down then Across
Say I have a 2x10 table in Word 2003 (SP3--just realized it got installed
without me noticing!) and I want to number the items in table going from 1 to 10 in the first column and then from 11 to 20 in the second column. Seems like a simple thing to do and I'm sure I've done this plenty of times before. Now I get the numbering going across sequentially as follows. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 etc. instead of 1 11 2 12 3 13 4 14 etc. Is this a SP3 bug? Is there a workaround short of typing in the numbers myself? Thanks. Brian |
