Default Edit a list in the custom file properties text box

I am trying to edit an entry in the custom file properties. The entry
contains a list of names used to produce a lits of Annexes. In the "Value"
window I only ever see the first name. In the properties window below I see
the list of names seperated by two small box symbols.

1. How do I insert a newline into the Value window?

2. How do I move to edit an entry (other than the first name) in the Value
window?

Thank you.

I expect this entry was created using the object model (a macro). And that's
the only way you'd be able to add "new lines" (I'm guessing that's what the
boxes are for that you're seeing).

You may want to contact whomever created this document and discuss how to best
populate this property.

AFAIK,

1- You can't - the entire entry is made on a single line,

2- Drag in the Value box until you get to what you want to change or click
in the box & use the right arrow key to get there.

What the small box symbols are I can't say. Is the item linked to a
bookmarked list (is there a link icon in the Properties: list)? If so, click
the item & the name of the bookmark will appear in the value box. You need
to edit the list & the property will update.

If not helpful please try to be a bit more descriptive... I'm honestly not
sure I'm clear on what you're seeing & trying to change.
