Default Mirror Margin

I am using MS word 2002. My problem is I can't view certain page in Print
Preview when i use Mirror Margin.

Let say i have page 63,64,65... In the normal view, i can't view Page 64.
When i use Go To function, type in 64, it bring me to page 65. I try to go in
Print Preview, I can see Page 64 is totally a blank page that doesn't allow
me to zoom in or zoom out. It appear a handle sign that look like a cross
with a circle.

How do i get back my page 64 without changing the mirror margin setting?

Word won't normally show you a totally blank page in Print Preview.
IIRC even if you set your zoom to display two pages side by side, it
won't show a blank verso, but the openings will be "wrong" until the
next blank page.

(Probably doesn't have anything to do with Mirror Margins.)

Au contraire, Word won't show you *facing* pages unless you have either
"Mirror margins" or "Different odd and even" enabled; when it does, it will
show you blank versos. The cause of a blank verso (as explained at
http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/BlankPage.htm) is an Odd Page section
break. If this type of break was not inserted intentionally, it's likely
that Word has changed a Next Page break to Odd Page because an odd page
number has been assigned (when you use either "Mirror margins" or "Different
odd and even," Word assumes you mean to duplex and attempts to protect you
from your own stupidity).

See http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/BlankPage.htm. Your blank page is
caused by an Odd Page section break.

Thanks for the solutions.
However i tried to check if it is a odd/even page break, the setting is
still Section break (NExt page). I tried to remove extra paragraph or by
making it smaller to pt1, but the problem still exist...

I have another missing page 66. This page will only appear if i remove the
section break ( Next PAge) at Page 63. If removed this, Page 64 will appear
too...

Wondering why that particular section break ( next page) will cause 2 pages
to be missing?

Are these section breaks between chapters (or something similar), or are
they for reasons of a change in page orientation? I've seen Word convert a
Next Page break to an Odd Page break for a number of reasons, but I've never
seen it convert to an Odd Page break that is still labeled Next Page.

Hi,

Thank for replying.

The section breaks are mean to recognise that the end of one story/title.
I noticed the page margin for page 63 and page 65 is totally different.
(page 64 is missing, in print preview, i see a blank page with a crossed
cursor(hander)... cannot zoom in or out.) And by right, Page 65 should be
Page 64. ( I think i missed mentioning this point). It mean to say Page 65's
content = Page 64's content. There is section break (Next PAge) on end of
Page 63 and end of Page 65.

* For your infor, my document have many section. ( 1,2,3,4,5 ....50)
* For your infor, this document is processed using VBA (macro), so the
section break (next page) is inserted through macro. So does Page margin and
orientation.
* It didn't convert to odd/even page break in the first place.

I hope i didn't mess you up from my explanation...
Thanks alot...

Default Mirror Margin

Not really, no. One way that enabling "Mirror margins" can make a difference
in Word, though, is that it is a signal to Word that you are planning to
duplex the document (print on both sides). Actually duplexing it requires
that the printer be capable of doing so, of course, or that you duplex
manually. But when you are duplexing, Word won't let you put an odd page
number on an even page, or vice versa. If you are restarting numbering in a
section, it will insist on making page 1 an odd (recto) page. To do this, it
will change a Next Page section break to an Odd Page break and insert a
blank even (verso) page after the odd page that ends the previous section.

Page
65's
content = Page 64's content. There is section break (Next PAge) on
end
of
Page 63 and end of Page 65.

* For your infor, my document have many section. ( 1,2,3,4,5 ....50)
* For your infor, this document is processed using VBA (macro), so
the
section break (next page) is inserted through macro. So does Page
margin
and
orientation.
* It didn't convert to odd/even page break in the first place.

I hope i didn't mess you up from my explanation...
Thanks alot...

Thanks for the solutions.
However i tried to check if it is a odd/even page break, the
setting
is
still Section break (NExt page). I tried to remove extra
paragraph
or
by
making it smaller to pt1, but the problem still exist...

I have another missing page 66. This page will only appear if i
remove
the
section break ( Next PAge) at Page 63. If removed this, Page 64
will
appear
too...

Wondering why that particular section break ( next page) will
cause
2
pages
to be missing?

ok. i have send you a sample document with the problem.

Thanks alot.

Hi,

Thank for replying.

The section breaks are mean to recognise that the end of one
story/title.
I noticed the page margin for page 63 and page 65 is totally
different.
(page 64 is missing, in print preview, i see a blank page with
a
crossed
cursor(hander)... cannot zoom in or out.) And by right, Page
65
should
be
Page 64. ( I think i missed mentioning this point). It mean to
say
Page
65's
content = Page 64's content. There is section break (Next
PAge)
on
end
of
Page 63 and end of Page 65.

* For your infor, my document have many section. ( 1,2,3,4,5
....50)
* For your infor, this document is processed using VBA
(macro),
so
the
section break (next page) is inserted through macro. So does
Page
margin
and
orientation.
* It didn't convert to odd/even page break in the first place.

I hope i didn't mess you up from my explanation...
Thanks alot...

Are these section breaks between chapters (or something

or
are
they for reasons of a change in page orientation? I've seen

I've

Thanks for the solutions.
However i tried to check if it is a odd/even page break,
the
setting
is
still Section break (NExt page). I tried to remove extra
paragraph
or
by
making it smaller to pt1, but the problem still exist...

I have another missing page 66. This page will only appear
if
i
remove
the
section break ( Next PAge) at Page 63. If removed this,
Page
64
will
appear
too...

Wondering why that particular section break ( next page)
will
cause
2
pages
to be missing?

Not really, no. One way that enabling "Mirror margins" can make a
difference
in Word, though, is that it is a signal to Word that you are planning
to
duplex the document (print on both sides). Actually duplexing it
requires
that the printer be capable of doing so, of course, or that you duplex
manually. But when you are duplexing, Word won't let you put an odd
page
number on an even page, or vice versa. If you are restarting numbering
in
a
section, it will insist on making page 1 an odd (recto) page. To do
this,
it
will change a Next Page section break to an Odd Page break and insert
a
blank even (verso) page after the odd page that ends the previous
section.
