Does Word have a reveal code pane like Word Perfect?
Word Perfect gives the option of revealing code in a pane below the text
showing where codes begin and end. Does Word have anything similar? |

First read http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/RevealCodes.htm for an explanation of why Word does _not_ have "reveal codes" -- mostly because it doesn't have any codes to reveal. Word does have a Reveal Formatting pane, which appears when you press Ctrl+F1 and shows all the styles and direct formatting that affect the current selection. If you want to pay $30 for an add-in that simulates the WordPerfect-style reveal codes pane, visit http://www.levitjames.com/crosseyes/crosseyes.html. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
