Instead of deleting, blue crossed out typeface?
Hello out there,
I'm trying to edit a handbook that was made in Word (probably word XP, and I'm using 2000 [obviously]). Basically I just need to change a few words here and there to fit my department. However, when I highlight the text and then type or hit delete, instead of disappearing, the text turns blue and gets a line through the middle, "crossed out." I am completely at a loss as to why it's doing this. I COULD type the entire handbook all over again but would rather not...any suggestions? Thanks in advance. |
