Password protected document
This is the problem. Someone password protected a word document that we need
to modify. We can only open it with read only rights. We want to save it as a different name and then edit it accordingly. We have tried this and every time we open the newly saved document we still get the password protected message. Does anyone have any suggestions on how we could save or change this document so that we can get rid of the password? -- Dennis B |

Password protected document
Open the doc, Ctrl+A (select all), Ctrl+C (copy), Ctrl+N (new doc), Ctrl+V
(paste), Ctrl+S (save). So much for a Read-Only Password. -- HTH |:) Bob Jones [MVP] Office:Mac "Dennis" wrote in message ... This is the problem.
