Default Why doesn't word 2003 recognize arabic language?

I'm puzzled about why word 2003 doesn't recoginze arabic language although I
went to office tools then and language settings and add arabic but it was no
good.
please help me what can i do?

Arabic is right-to-left, and uses a special set of symbols. So my guess is that
you also need to install an IME to support the display. You might try asking in
the word.international.features newsgroup...
