Default trying to create baby invitation help please

Hi all

I hope someone can help me with this. I am sending out baby shower
invitations that I bought. They are blank inside.
They are single side fold 6" tall by 4" wide. I want to put them in my
printer and print on the inside page the date, time, place, etc. info.
Is there a way to do this because I cannot figure it out. Please help me
with step by step instructions for the shower is in two weeks, I need to get
them in the mail.
Thanks in advance.

You need to refer to your printer manual for information specific to the
printer.

The basic steps will be to open a new documetn and use File, Page Setup
selecting Custom Paper size set to match the card's open size. You should be
able to open up the card so that it is 8" wide by 6" tall and still put it
into the printer sheet feeder in landscape orientation.

Then I guess you will need to write on the right side of the card. So set
the left margin sufficient large that it aligns where the left margin of the
right hand page commences.

Then type you message - probably centred both vertically (setting under Page
setup) and horizontally.

I hope that's sufficient to get you going.

(Oh! Practise on a piece of ordinary paper cut to approximately the correct
size!)
