I am experiencing a problem in Word 2007 on my laptop in loading templates
using the vista operating system. The templates take a long time to load and
a message appears saying "connecting to printer, press ESC to cancel"
However, if I press ESC immediately the template loads normally and the
subsequent templates also load normally without any waiting time during a
Word session.

I did not have this problem using Windows XP and the source of the word 2007
program is identical in both cases.

Any suggestions?
