Why are only some letters of a watermark are printing on a page? Of the word
"DRAFT", the letters D,A, and T print on page one. The remining letters print
on the following page. It doesn't semm to matter how short the watermark is.

Must be RF interference.

Sorry... the ham radio operator in me couldn't resist. (See

What version of Word are you using? Do you get the same pattern (odd letters
on page 1, and even letters on page 2) if you use a word other than DRAFT as
the watermark?

In the Format | Background | Printed Watermark dialog, clear the check box
for "Semitransparent."
