Default In Word, the cursor just jumps from line to line by itself!!

This is driving me CRAZY. The cursor just jumps from line to line,
everywhere in the document, all by itself and continues to type whatevery I
am typing there. Does anyone know what I can do to stop this??? I will be
SO greatful for a fix for this. Thanks. Kathleen

If you have a laptop, keep your hands away from the touchpad and reduce the
sensitivity. If you have Speech Recognition enabled, disable it or turn the
mike off.
