How can I do this in Word 2000? If you use the Insert Index & Table of Contents dialog, the entries in the table of contents you get will automatically be hyperlinks. The article at http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/TOCSwitches.htm explains about the \h switch in the field code. Read the Help topic about "how to create a table of contents" for other things you need to know, like using the built-in heading styles and/or TC fields. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org |
