All I need to do is copy a word document and put it in an excel tab. But,
every time I do there are tons of formatting issues. Any ideas for me? The
word document is in a 2 column format.

The simplest thing might be to capture an image of the Word page and paste
that into Excel. If the page is all text and you need to be able to edit it
in Excel try this: Make three columns (text, gutter, text) that are roughly
the widths they are in the Word document. Turn wrap on in both of the text
columns, and change the cell alignment to top. Paste each text column
separately by first double clicking in the cell where you want to paste and
then pasting. This should put all the pasted data into one cell. You may
still have some cleanup, but probably less than you have otherwise had.
