Default Modifying Size of the Drop Down Form Field

I need to place several short paragraphs in a drop down form field and am
finding distinct limitations to the size of the entries.

Can someone help me figure out how to increase the size of the drop down
field? I have found how to do this on menu boxes in Word, but can't find an
option to do so within a form itself.

If you don't really need a form field, or if you could put this in an
unprotected section of your form, you could use an AutoTextList field. The
dropdown would list the names of the AutoText entries, which can be as long
as you like. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/AutoTextList.htm
